FAQs

Yes, every card in Canara Bank's current lineup — Visa Classic, Visa Gold, Visa Platinum, RuPay Select and MasterCard World — has no joining or annual fee. The bank does expect a minimum annual card turnover at each tier, with a small inactivity charge if that's not met.
RuPay Select and MasterCard World offer the richest lounge benefits, including international lounge visits, while Visa Platinum offers domestic-only lounge access. Visa Classic and Visa Gold don't include lounge access at all.
The RuPay Select Credit Card can be linked to UPI apps for everyday QR-code payments, a feature not available on Canara Bank's Visa or Mastercard variants.
Credit limits vary by card and applicant, generally ranging from around ₹1 lakh to ₹50 lakh depending on income, existing relationship with the bank and repayment history, as assessed by the issuing branch.
All five cards earn a flat 2 Reward Points per ₹100 on PoS and e-commerce spends. RuPay Select adds 5% cashback on utility and dining spends, each capped at ₹50 a month, on top of the base rate.
It isn't always mandatory, but having an existing savings account, salary relationship or other banking relationship with Canara Bank generally improves your chances of approval and access to a higher credit limit.
